Life Festa Revealed its Metaverse Platform ACTIVELY in CES 2023 “The real world metaverse embodies the organic connection between reality and virtuality”

Life Festa, Inc., (CEO Shin Jae-Chan) participated in the 'Startup Zone' at the Eureka Park K-STARTUP integrated hall of 'CES 2023' in Las Vegas, USA from January 5 (Thursday) to 8 (Sunday, local time) for a total of 4 days.

Living up to its credo, “Gamification of Everyday Life,” Life Festa has built a real world metaverse that can be used easily and frequently by anyone. Spurred by the experience of professionals who have developed and commercialized the avatar community-based metaverse, the company has created a virtual space that is closely related to daily life, and organically utilizes location-based technologies with AR, the 3D spaces, and the global server technology. The metaverse developer is also actively involved in collaborative projects that will realize synergies to expand its linkages within the industry.

In this exhibition, Life Festa introduced its first project, ACTIVELY, which features an environment where the map of reality and the virtual space experience are contextually connected. With ACTIVELY, users can engage in a variety of daily activities, such as walking, exploring, taking photos using AR cameras, and sharing them with other users.

The “Challenge to Earn (C2E)” will reward engagement in these activities to encourage users to participate. With their earned rewards, users can generate vector-based 3D maps and create virtual spaces that reflect their lifestyles. Ultimately, this space can be extended to build a local interest-based community centered on creators.

Founded on gamification and interactive social activities, ACTIVELY helps to overcome the limitations of conventional services focused on passive measurement, creating an active and sustainable healthy lifestyle, according to Life Festa.

“Now that the Series A investment round open, we hope to meet with global venture investors interested in the metaverse and web 3.0,” a representative from the startup revealed. “In particular, our ongoing Real World Metaverse is expanding its influence in the North American market. We believe that this CES could be a great opportunity to promote what we have to offer.” They added, “We also intend to discover communication channels with global media. Our goals are to spread word about our innovation to the global marketplace and moving on to the next level, based on a wide range of feedback,” explained the representative.

“Real World Metaverse ACTIVELY is planned for its first launch in 2023. And the NFT project Penguin Flex will also be introduced to the global market,” the representative added.

‘CES’ is the world’s biggest IT trade show and is a place where one can see the direction and trends of the appliance industry of the entire world. Hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), it is held annually in Las Vegas, USA in January. Having reported on CES for 17 consecutive years, AVING News started reporting news of CES to the entire world since 2006, and conducted ‘BEST OF CES’, which chose the most innovative product and technology, and ‘BEST OF MADE IN KOREA, which chose the best innovative company in Korea. In addition, it vividly relayed on-site issues in CES through ‘AVING LIVE’.

The K-STARTUP Joint Pavilion featured joint participation of institutions like the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development, Seoul Business Agency, and Seoul Digital Foundation, as well as 51 Korean innovative companies, to enter the US market and discover global partners. In addition, university student supporters of CES 2023 chosen by each university (Kyunghee, Kookmin, Sogang, Chung-Ang) matched to participating companies based on their respective majors and fields of business.
