Hyunjin Corp. (CEO Rim Yong-taik, www.hjing.co.kr) showcased various devices and technologies for water treatment at the 7th International Climate & Environmental Fair, which runs Sept. 9-11 at Kim Dae-jung Convention Center in Gwangju.Hyunjin boasts a 30-year history, and specializes in water treatment. The company has developed water purifying devices, water intake apparatuses, chemical apparatuses, and stainless water tanks. The products are provided to local governments and military camps. Recently, the company developed a water tank that prevents freezing, a recirculating water filtration system, and a safety lock lid for water tanks. It is also focused on supplying drinking water to schools and military camps.Hyunjin introduced its rainwater underground infiltration apparatus. It can be installed on rainwater pipes of concrete roads and buildings during heavy rainfalls. It makes the rainwater flow down to aquifers in the ground, preventing flooding in cities and rivers. A major advantage is that it improves natural purification by making the water in aquifers flow into rivers during the dry season. Furthermore, the apparatus can be installed on buildings and roads. It prevents overflowing in low-lying areas, and makes water in aquifers naturally flow down into rivers. This allows rivers to regain their ability to purify.In addition, this product solves pollution problems in aquifers by preventing toxic water from penetrating the ground. When water is over a certain limit, it makes rainfall pass through into underground.At the exhibition, the company displayed multipurpose water purification equipment, a pollution-filtration apparatus for water from valleys, a water purification system for aquatic plants, a groundwater dam for drought and flood damage, and a safety lock lid for water tanks.
