SEOUL, Korea (AVING) -- <Visual News> Transcend(www.transcend.co.kr) announced the release its new Extreme Plus 600x-capable CF cards in Korea market, which is available in 8GB and 16GB capacities. According to the company, the Extreme Plus CF cards support 92MB/s read and 87MB/s write speeds.

These cards use a quad-channel controller, via UDMA6, and tasty Turbo MLC memory to hit the speeds, and they're reasonably close to low-end SSDs in pure sequential performance.
