[The London Book Fair Video] Incheon Metropolitan City Participates At 'London Book Fair 2014'

Incheon, the World Book Capital 2015 and Frankfurt Book Fair made an agreement at the London Book Fair 2014, Earls Court, London.

At the London Book Fair 2014, Incheon took a booth as a UNESCO World Book Capital 2015. Frankfurt Book Fair committee and Incheon came together for the signing on show floor. Juergen Boss, Director of Frankfurt Book Fair and Myong-U Jo, Vice Mayor of Incheon Metropolitan City signed an agreement and Eric Yang, the President of the Asia Pacific Publishers Association attended during  MOU.

According to the agreement, Incheon and Frankfurt Book Fair will hold a forum with main members of international publishing industry in November 2014.

Incheon is a meeting city for Korea and the rest of the world via the Incheon port and Incheon International Airport. The newly built MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences & exhibitions) infrastructure makes Incheon even an appropriate venue as a stage of global festival. It is also a geographically strategic place to have cultural exchange with North Korea that is becoming more and more isolated from the rest of the world.

The London Book Fair (LBF) is the global marketplace for rights negotiation and the sale and distribution of content across print, audio, TV, film and digital channels. LBF brings direct access to customers, content and emerging markets. For 2014, LBF launches London Book and Screen Week, with the book fair as the pivotal three day event within a five day programme. Korea is Market Focus country in 2014, following Turkey in 2013. Korea is one of the top ten publishing markets in the world. For further information, visit: www.londonbookfair.co.uk.
