The 'K-PRINT 2021' exhibition that showed the new potential of K-smart printing technology ended in great success!

The flow of convergence between industries is changing the printing industry. At the K-PRINT 2021 exhibition held at the exhibition hall 2 of KINTEX in Ilsan for three days from August 26, 2021 (Thur), it was possible see expanding of the printing market through convergence technology and breaking down the barriers between industries.

K-PRINT 2021 is combined 6 distinct specialized exhibition including the International Printing Machinery and Equipment Show(KIPES), Korea Label Exhibition (K-Label), Korea Printing Package Exhibition (K-Pack), Korea Digital Printing Solution Exhibition (K-DigiPrint), and Korea Textile Exhibition (K-Textile) and the Korea Sign & Advertising Exhibition (K-Sign&AD) to keep pace with the changes in the printing industry.

In accordance with the quarantine guidelines for 'New Social Distance' to prevent the spread of COVID-19, a step-by-step quarantine plan was established, prioritizing the prevention of infection by visitors, and striving for cleanliness by minimizing inconvenience. Visitors entered the accustomed quarantine procedures smoothly, and in the exhibition hall, they cooperated with the safe operation of the exhibition according to the quarantine guidelines of the secretariat.

K-PRINT is an exhibition that encompasses digital printing, label, print package, textile, advertising and sign industries that open the future of the new printing industry due to changes in printing industry and respond them as a new market and gain competitiveness for the future vision.

Especially not only label-related equipment, which is actively converge with other industries, but also prepress and post-processing equipment, digital printing, special printing, packaging printing, textile printing, and sign printing production fields that can be used on various materials converged with electronics, architecture, interior attracted attention.

Despite the slump due to COVID-19, many numbers of domestic companies and global companies such as Epson, Fuji Film, Konica Minolta, and Ricoh presented new products and active consultations were held between participating companies and visitors, and many contracts were concluded as the result.

In addition, during the K-PRINT 2021 exhibition period, a separate exhibition hall was prepared under the theme of 'Smart Factory', which has recently been receiving a lot of attention in the printing industry. This was based on regional printing companies to form national printing network and presented a model of the printing production environment suitable for the 4th Industrial Revolution era.
