The 2021 International Light Convergence Expo, organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the LED Industry Forum and managed by the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership, will be operated in an on-off hybrid form which is a new type of exhibition platform.
The International Light Convergence Expo 2021 is expected to gain high popularity among exhibitors and buyers by operating an online exhibition hall for effective marketing support between buyers and exhibitors who have difficulty in face-to-face visits due to prolonged social distancing caused by the 4th COVID-19 wave.
The International Light Convergence O2O Expo is the world's first exhibition specializing in light convergence, and will be held for three days from October 13th (Wednesday) to 15th (Friday) at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 1 in Ilsan.
This online exhibition is not a one-time business event, but provides regular business services based on various events and promotions. In particular, they plan to actively support domestic companies' overseas advancement through cooperation with the international exhibitions by establishing a network.
Improving quality is the one of the biggest tasks of this year's expo, and in order to achieve that, differentiated business programs are conducted for buyers with high purchasing power, such as purchase consultations for large corporations and public institutions, and export consultations for overseas buyers without country restrictions. In particular, major buyers are expected to visit LG Display, Samsung Display, Samsung Engineering, Hanwha E&C and more.
In this year's Lighting Pavilion, technologies related to quality of life and health, such as bio-lighting and smart lighting, will be showcased which are becoming global issues. Also, in the DISPLAY-SIGNAGE exhibition hall, cutting-edge technologies such as transparent displays and artificial intelligence kiosks are mainly exhibited. In the New Light Convergence Technology exhibition hall, convergence technologies such as light sensor security technology, vehicle electronics, sterilization and quarantine, plant growth, and healthcare are exhibited.
Major companies such as LG Electronics, Samsung Electronics, and Wonwoo ENG participated in the 'International Light Convergence O2O Expo' which was organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the LED Industry Forum and was managed by the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership. The International Light Convergence Expo Government Award will be jointly held which includes the highest honorable awards, the Presidential Award.
