Adopting a 13.1-inch widescreen, it is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 processor(2.4Ghz), 3GB of main memory and 320GB SATA hard drive. Measuring 327 x 227.5 x 10~25mm at 1.73kg, it supports Intel GMA X4500MHD graphics engine, Ethernet LAN, WiFI, Bluetooth, and Windows Vista Home Premium OS.

The Averatec Star is also equipped with an Express Card slot, three USB 2.0 ports, VGA output, and an integrated 1.3M camera.
