Sung Chang (CEO Lee Jae-jin) participated in the International Green Energy Expo 2021 held at EXCO, Daegu from April 28 (Wed) to 30 (Fri) and introduced its traceable solar power generation device

Founded in 1991, Sung Chang is KT’s partner, and it has continued to develop its technology as a R&D-oriented venture company. It has developed NON-CPU tracking-type solar power plant and ultra-compact DC uninterruptible power supply device as a national R&D project, a convergence technology development project by MSS, and a joint R&D project by MSIT. Also, as a specialized solar company, it has focused on new and renewable energy mainly by public corporations, power generation companies, private houses, farmland, and farms.

Sung Chang CEO Lee Jae-jin said at 2021 Green Energy Expo, “We are introducing a tracking solar power generation device and a REMS-type RTU device used by Korea Energy Agency. It moves by optical sensor method, and increases the generation amount all day by facing the sun all day.”

When asked about the features of the tracked solar power generation device, he emphasized on the technological capabilities of Sung Chang and said, “We can easily install it by building the foundation by digging the ground. We can expect to see the improvement in generation of up to 30% per year.”

On top of this, CEO Lee emphasized on the stability, saying, “To reduce the risk of failure, we have installed the monitoring system. We can keep checking for the abnormalities.”

He also introduced the RTU device by saying, “We have developed the REMS-type RTU device in 2018.” He added, “The RTU device developed by our company uses KT’s NB-IoT communication network. It is a technology that can secure a communication network and communicate wirelessly through KT’s LTE network.” He then said again, “It is an essential equipment for the energy industrial complex supply businesses such as convergence businesses and building support businesses.”
