Strategic products of LG Electronics in Japan

1. World Class Company – exhibition center tour – LG Electronics exhibition center ①

For foreign electronic home appliance manufacturers, Japan is certainly a tough place to compete due to strong domestic counterparts. Actually Japanese companies such as SONY, SHARP, and Panasonic are holding more than 90 percent of the domestic market share in home appliances market. In the midst of the harsh competition, however, LG seems to have fought well.

LG has launched the all-in-1 DTV with digital tuner built inside as the first foreign company in Japan last September. LG is going to release 26 inch and 32 inch products to Yodobashi Camera. LG has also announced that it plans to release its new cell phone for NTT Docomo next March, 2006.

Due to the structural aspect focusing on domestic demand, other foreign companies are also struggling in the Japanese market, but LG has been trying to improve recognition of LG as a premium brand by developing customized products suitable for local market.

AVING reporters presents the picture of strategic products of LG displayed in the exhibition center of LG located on the 9th floor of Akasaka Twin Tower.
