Seoul Commtech to present its digital door lock ' EZON (SHS-1210)'

LAS VEGAS, USA (AVING Special Report on 'ISC WEST 2009') -- <Visual News> Seoul Commtech, a Samsung Group company, presented its digital door lock 'EZON (SHS-1210)', the bestseller product in Korea at the ISC (International Security Conference) West in Las Vegas from April 1-3, 2009.

The thinnest (21.5 mm) door lock with a touch sensor and made of aluminum alloy to enhance its strength, the SHS-1210 is the base model of the SHS-3120 developed specifically for U.S. markets.

Instead of a keypad cover, the SH-1210 has a touch sensor integrated in the special tempered glass in black, differentiating it from existing products in terms of technology and design.

The keypad becomes visible only when the control button is pressed as the backlighting is turned on, improving the product security thanks to minimum exposure of the keypad and its numbers.

With the KPS (Korea Product Safety) and KS (Korea Standard) certifications, the SHS-1210 has the fire detection and anti electric shock function up to 30,000 V as standard features.

It is also possible to open the door using a T-money card (a public transportation card) issued by Korea Smart Card, credit card, or key tag for added convenience; doors can be opened using a remote control from inside the house.

The door lock handle can be separated. Dimensions: 68.7 mm (W) x 175.1 mm (H) x 21.5 mm (D).
