Hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and organized by the Seoul Startup Hub, "Try Everything 2021" took place over the course of three days from September 15th to the 17th. Furthermore, on the 16th, a Selection Day event was held to select the finalist for "STARTUP AUTOBAHN 2021"
On Selection Day, we were able to witness the launch of a PoC by the finalists from an online hackathon program as well as corporate partners in Future Mobility, Digital Transformation, and 5G New Business. A total of 230 startups, including AI, autonomous driving, vehicle automation technology, electric vehicle infrastructure, and 5G-based services took part, but only 20 competent startups that passed the first screening announce their projects that day.
Thomas Klein, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Korea, said, "I was reminded once again how many Korean startups have innovative ideas and excellent technology," adding, "We will congratulate the chosen startups on this Selection Day and do our best to support these projects from implementing their ideas and solutions."
This year’s Try Everything, which was hosted with the slogan Jump Up! Scale Up!, had expanded compared to last year. More than 500 organizations, including global startup experts from more than 15 countries, global conglomerates, VCs and startups, took part and a total of 91 Scale-up focused global startup programs were operated.
