Samsung Medical Rubber participated in theCOPHEX Special & ICPI WEEK 2021 held at KINTEX, Goyang from May 25 (Tue) to28 (Fri), and introduced its pharmaceutical bio stoppers.
Founded in 1979, Samsung Medical Rubber isa leading company in the medical rubber market. Since its inception, it hasfocused on supplying stable and high-quality medical rubber parts for thedevelopment of the medical industry. Medical rubber is a product that directlyor indirectly affects the human body, and advanced technologies such asnon-toxicity, safety, and functionality are changing rapidly. The company isworking hard on developing non-toxic pharmaceutical rubber products withcontinuous investment and new technology in its R&D Center.
At this exhibition, Samsung Medical Rubberintroduced pharmaceutical biostoppers (rubber stoppers) as its main product.Rubber is used in a variety of ways in the medical field, such as a stopper foran injection solution and a fluid connector.
Jang Hyun-seok, the Team Leader of theDomestic Sales Team, said, “Our products are currently being supplied to globalpharmaceutical companies like such as GC, Chong Kun Dang, and Ildong Pharmaceutical.Foreign-made rubbers were often not supplied well, but our company has thefacility to supply them in Korea.”
Before the opening of KOREA PACK 2021, anonline exhibition hall service where visitors can see exhibitors’ products wasunveiled on May 17 (Mon). This online exhibition hall was designed for overseasbuyers who cannot enter Korea due to COVID pandemic and Korean SMEs havingdifficulty entering overseas. The organizer is supporting export channels byholding the first online export consultation at the KINTEX from May 25 to 28for Korean exhibitors and overseas buyers that have been matched.
