[RFID/USN KOREA 2011] Kook Min University, The 'Smart e-bus system' for environment friendly future traffic

Kook Min University(ucrc.kookmin.ac.kr) presents the 'Smart e-bus system' for environment friendly future traffic participating in ‘RFID/USN KOREA 2011’, held at COEX, SEOUL, from November 16~18.

'Smart e-bus system' is composed of Battery exchange electric bus (QTPE-Bus) and Battery change platform(QCM) and Emergency charge system (MCS).

Battery exchange platform(QCM) picks up discharged battery and change full battery. This battery change system based on robot, and speedy battery exchange is main goal  of this system using lift mechanism technology.

Electric bus of battery exchange type supports QTP(Quick Pick-up) that change the battery quickly on the top of bus to share standard battery.

Emergency charge system solved the problems such as limiting of mileage  and lack of charge infra, and it is a electric car support system based on commercial vehicle that can run emergency charge function when there is an unexpected situation.

Meanwhile, ‘RFID/USN KOREA 2011(www.rfidkorea.or.kr)’ is the international exhibition and conference hosted by Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Ministry of Public Administration and Security, and Korea Communications Commission, and supervised under RFID/USN convergence accosiation. 150 companies with 250 booths participate in this exhibition and domestic and overseas specialists run conference with 45 themes.
