[REK 2011] Hyundai Motors to Show ‘TUSCON ix FCEV,’ the Second Generation Hydrogen Fueled Cell Vehicle

Hyundai Motors (representative Choong-Ho Kim, www.hyundai.com) displayed ‘Tucson ix FCEV (Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle),’ a hydrogen fueled cell vehicle, at ‘Renewable Energy Korea (REK) 2011,’ which’s held in COEX, Seoul, Korea, from Oct 19 to 22.

Tucson ix FCEV, the second generation hydrogen fueled cell vehicle by Hyundai Motors, was developed by its own technology by installing fuel cell Stack, independently developed on the basis of Tucson ix and Mohave, and motor operated system. It optimizes manufacturing process for enabling assembling in mass production line.

Meanwhile, REK 2011, hosted by Ministry of Knowledge Economy and organized by Korea Energy Management Corporation, is the Korea’s best exhibition in renewable energy held with about 300 exhibitors with 1,000 booths presenting policies, visions, and R&D of Korean renewable energy.
