HIENERGY Korea (representative Gyoung-Geun An, www.hi-energy.co.kr) presented vertical wind turbine at ‘Renewable Energy Korea (REK) 2011,’ which’s held in COEX, Seoul, Korea, from Oct 19 to 22.

The vertical wind turbine generates more energy comparing with other products with the same wind velocity, thanks to high efficiency caused by sweepback acceleration. While products made by other companies reduce energy by a crosswind, the wind turbine by HIENERGY Korea converts energy to winds blown from all directions.

Meanwhile, REK 2011, hosted by Ministry of Knowledge Economy and organized by Korea Energy Management Corporation, is the Korea’s best exhibition in renewable energy held with about 300 exhibitors with 1,000 booths presenting policies, visions, and R&D of Korean renewable energy.
