Powercube Korea introduces a Charging Outlet with a Built-In Meter at ITS 2021

Powercube Korea (CEO Chan-hee Han) participated in the 22nd Innovative Technology Show 2021 held at SETEC (Seoul Trade Exhibition Hall) from October 26th to 28th and showcased the "Charge-Type Outlet with Built-In Meters."

Powercube Korea has been striving to manufacture, sell, and provide services for electric vehicle chargers and battery peripherals since its establishment in 2007. Currently, it has a 30% share as the nation's No. 1 charging service provider and has achieved the only type of approval in Korea related to electric vehicle chargers and the No. 1 slow charger installation in Korea for two consecutive years.

Powercube Korea's charging outlet is a 3kW outlet with a built-in meter and it charges electric vehicles directly using the existing 220V general outlet. Although it is low-speed, it is cheaper to install than a slow charger and can charge sequentially, so there is no need for separate construction. It has a challenge prevention function, so it not only has little impact on the existing building load but also has no standby power. All electric vehicles can be charged with emergency cables for 220V.

In addition, it is designed to relieve the inconvenience of residents who lack parking spaces or monopolize parking spaces, and it does not require a dedicated parking space, and can be easily installed in a general 220V outlet of the parking lot with little impact on the existing building load.

Furthermore, it can be troublesome when using an average charger rather than an emergency charger or a Powercube Korea charger from an outlet in a public parking lot, but standby power can be maintained at zero when not in use.

Plus, through the classification and billing function, electricity used by users and public electricity in public housing can be separately charged, and the fee per 1 kwh can be used at the lowest price regardless of members or non-members.

Meanwhile, the main exhibition composition of ITS 2021 hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups is as follows. △Smart Factory Solution Hall △Smart Manufacturing Innovation Hall △Smart Digital New Industry Hall △Smart Green New Industry Hall △Smart Service Innovation Hall.
