SEOUL, Korea (AVING Special Report on 'PHOTO&IMAGING 2011') -- <Visual News> 'Photo & Imaging 2011 (P&I 2011)', Asia's largest international photo imaging exhibition, was closed in great success on 24.

P&I 2011, held in COEX, Seoul, from April 21 to 24, the biggest size ever, attracted 70,700 visitors and 281 brand products from 117 enterprises from 20 countries were introduced.

In particular, this year photo-goers were given opportunity to experience products from famous Korean brands and international and enjoy photo-printers, memory for digital camera and portable storage device displayed. By implementing organized overseas promotion through technical magazines regarding to photography exhibitors showed better performance than expected by attracting a number of buying missions from all over the world.

P&I started as 'Korea International Optical Industry Show' in 1989 and entered upon 20th anniversary this year. It's the biggest event in Asia which obtained the first UFI certification in Korea in 2002 and has been nominated as a promising exhibition by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy for 10 consecutive years.

Im-Soo Lee, a deputy section chief of COEX, said, "For the next P&I, we'll improve visitor's satisfaction with more diverse and intriguing programs. Our main visitors now are men of 20s and 30s. We'll make programs that all generations can enjoy to give wider opportunities for business to exhibitors".
