Gyeonggi-do Province held an 'Online Meet Up' event with Clement Jean, reporter from 'STARTUPWORLD', European media, on October 25, through a video conference to inform the world about the values and the status of the companies in Pangyo Techno Valley.
‘Online Meetup’ is one of Pangyo Techno Valley’s PR projects, and it is an event to share opinions online with global startup clusters on major issues of Pangyo Techno Valley companies. In particular, this meeting was prepared as an event to introduce companies in Pangyo, and new technologies of various startups.
The event was hosted by MC Alex Sigrist, and a total of 6 companies participated including, ▲ CoX Space, a company specializing in human interface, ▲Hills Robotics, a company specializing in AI-based self-driving intelligent logistics robot platform, ▲Sam Corporation, a media convergence “Edu-tech” company, ▲Bluefeel, a home appliance brand that adds convenience to daily products ▲Laplace Technologies, a company specializing in automatic commerce data analysis solution, ▲and NuviLab, a food tech company that analyzes food data with AI food scanning technology.
An Official of Hills Robotics, the company that participated in the meet-up that day, said, "Pangyo is a place where startups with innovative ideas gather, and it is a good place to get inspirations." He added, "Pangyo is geographically close to Seoul and it is also easy to go to other cities from here, so it is good to cooperate with various outside companies."
An official from Laplace Technologies, another participating company, said, “In Pangyo Techno Valley, excellent e-commerce companies are located. In addition, it is close to global support organizations such as Born2Global, so it is good to cooperate with partners.”
Pangyo Techno Valley is a 'startup hub where people, information, ideas, and investments gather', and is a place that carries out the duty as Korea's largest startup support cluster, such as business advancement (support for investment attraction, connection with large companies), and market development (the global market entrance).
