[Pangyo Tech] Bluefeel Reveals Mini Appliances at Pangyo Monthly Online Meetup in October 2022… “Relieve Inconvenience and Make it More Convenient!”

Gyeonggido conducted an ‘Online Meet Up’ with Clement Jean, a reporter from the European media outlet, STARTUPWORLD, through a virtual meeting on the 25th of October, in order to share the value and state of companies in Pangyo Techno Valley with the world.

Bluefeel (CEO Kang Nam Kim), which took part in the virtual meeting, is a mini appliances startup. They left the Samsung Electronics Venture Department with innovative technologies and ideas and started the business in 2017. Their goal is to find the inconveniences and discomforts that regular consumers have experienced in their daily lives as they used mini appliances but had ignored, and to relieve them.

Bluefeel’s main products are divided into ▲vacuum cleaners, ▲humidifiers, ▲and mini fans.

Bluefeel’s mini fan, ‘Minihead Fan’, has changed how people perceived fans. Starting with this product characterized by its innovative concept of being handheld, they have inspired the world with various other products as well.

‘Montanc’, their wireless vacuum cleaner, has recorded 1.5 million USD in sales from global crowdfunding. Realizing that there wasn’t a small vacuum cleaner that was both light and had powerful suction on the market, they showcased this product after 2 years of R&D. Montanc drew much attention shortly after its release on the market. Aimed at the lifestyle of modern people, where their living spaces keep getting smaller and there’s less and less room to store big cleaning equipment, they chose a design that was appropriate for the small interior environment, which allows it to be kept beside the table or bed without the need to hide it, enabling it to be used quickly when needed.

Bluefeel’s overseas sales professional, Hugh Kim, said that, “Our company seeks to relieve the inconveniences people have felt when using mini appliances, and is making an effort in research and manufacturing to provide a better, more convenient experience to users. We will find points of inconvenience or discomfort users have with household appliances, and will research, inspect, and provide solutions.” He went on to say, “We plan to expand into the North American and European markets in the future. We are looking for large-scale buyers who can purchase and distribute our products so that we can enter overseas markets.”

The ‘Online Meet Up’ is one of the promotion projects of Pangyo Techno Valley and is an event where opinions of key issues of Pangyo Techno Valley companies are shared with the startup clusters around the world online. The meeting in October in particular, was one where the companies of Pangyo were introduced, and it became a place where new technologies of numerous startups could be introduced. The videos of the Online Meet Up can be seen on the Pangyo Techno Valley YouTube channel.
