AhnLab announced on Aug. 13 that it has released the new high-end next-generation firewall model “AhnLab TrusGuard 20000B” with enhanced hardware performance.

AhnLab's next-generation firewall TrusGuard provides network security functions such as △Advanced application control △Signature-based IPS (Intrusion Prevention System) △C&C server detection and blocking △APT threat response linked with AhnLab MDS △Defense for DDoS attacks.

TrusGuard 20000B introduced this time has upgraded the hardware performance of the existing high-end next-generation firewall TrusGuard 10000B. Compared to the previous model, firewall traffic processing performance increased by 20% and the maximum number of processing sessions increased by 1.5 times.

Here, AhnLab has expanded its portfolio of next-generation firewalls that support small network environments like SMB to large-scale network environments such as data centers, telecommunication companies, and large financial companies.

Lee Sang-guk, AhnLab's Marketing Division Head, said, "Recently, as digital conversion and non-face-to-face work environments are prevalent, demand for high-performance next-gen firewalls is increasing among large customers. By launching TrusGuard 20000B this time, I am hoping that we can expand the customers’ range of selections.”
