Yellosis, Introduced Personal Urine Test Kit At CES 2023... "Pursuing sustainability from the environment to health with the use of biodegradable paper!”

Yellosis Inc. (CEO: Yu-kyung Tak) participated in the 'Startup Zone' at the Eureka Park K-STARTUP integrated hall of 'CES 2023' in Las Vegas, USA from January 5 (Thursday) to 8 (Sunday, local time) for a total of 4 days.

Yellosis is a company that provides urine-based AI health management solutions that anyone can easily manage their health. Yellosis, which started as a Samsung Electronics C-Lab project and was recognized for its excellence, has developed a convenient personal urine test kit called 'Cym702 Boat (Basic)'. Previously, urine tests had to be done by visiting a hospital, which took time and money, but with Cym702 Boat, you can now do urine tests at home anytime and manage health warnings, which can help prevent disease.

The urine test results are automatically analyzed through the Cym702 app, and the user can monitor the test item results through the app. This allows users to receive a systematic health management solution. The boat-shaped urine test pad helps to easily test and dispose of urine through its ergonomic design.

In addition, Yellosis has also focused on the pursuit of sustainability for human and environmental health. In line with the brand vision for the health of humans and the environment, biodegradable paper made from sugarcane and soy ink was used to reduce carbon emissions that occur during the production and disposal process. To prevent paper waste, the packaging was used for various purposes such as a stand and instructions in addition to its role as packaging. The convenience has been increased by designing the boat to be placed at the bottom of the package and waiting for the urine to react to the test paper for 60 seconds and taking a picture in that state.

Yellosis said, "There is a system within Samsung Electronics that supports employee's excellent ideas as in-house ventures, so we have concretely supported the idea of a smart urine test system. The idea was selected as a project support and excellent item, and it has been commercialized.

The AI urine test system is currently in the process of obtaining medical device certification in Korea and is expected to be completed by the end of January 2023. The first launch products are the Cym702 urine test kit and app, which are planned to be sold and provided as a subscription-based solution for kidney and diabetes patients in Korea through B2B/B2C sales. In the United States, animal diagnosis is planned to be provided first, and services are currently being planned through collaboration with veterinary groups and remote healthcare companies.

Yellosis has announced its ambition to expand and develop its measurement and diagnostic test items based on its experience in diagnostic device research and development at Samsung Electronics and its own capabilities, with the mission of "making humanity healthy and happy through measurement and diagnostic technology.
