“Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2016”, which Samsung Electronics held at Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona (CCIB) in Barcelona, Spain, on the 21st, local time, drew much attention as Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg made a surprise appearance.

Zuckerberg showed up at the end of the event and said: “VR is the next platform. Gear VR is by far the best mobile VR experience and that’s because it combines the best hardware -- from Samsung, with the best VR software -- from Facebook, with Oculus.” He added: “We are working with Samsung to make VR affordable and decided to target a $99 price.”

“VR is going to be the next social platform,” he emphasized. On that day, Samsung Electronics showcased “Galaxy S7”, “Galaxy S7 Edge”, and “Gear 360”, a 360-degree camera.
