Musikmesse International Press Award to be presented at a special ceremony

FRANKFURT, Germany (AVING Special Report on 'Musikmesse 2010') -- <Visual News> The Musikmesse International Press Award (MIPA) is the most important and renowned award of the musical instrument-instrument and pro-audio sector.

At the invitation of the MM-Musik-Media-Verlag publishing company, journalists from over 100 music journals worldwide select the most innovative and impressive products from the musical-instrument and professional audio industries in more than 40 categories.

The awards for the best products of 2009 / 2010, as well as the MIPA Lifetime Achievement Award for special services to the sector, will be presented at a special ceremony during the Musikmesse on Thursday, 25 March. In 2009, the Award went to Charlie Steinberg, founder of the world-famous Steinberg musicsoftware company.

More than 100 magazines from all over the world will get together to vote for the best products of 2009/2010 in more than 40 categories of the MIPA Musikmesse International Press Award.

The awards will be presented to the winners at a special mipa-Party/Awards-Ceremony held during Musikmesse/Prolight + Sound on Thursday, March 25th 2010. More than 400 international representatives of manufacturers and distributors of musical instruments and audio equipment will join together for the 11th mipa Musikmesse International Press Awards, including guests from the USA, Canada, Japan, Brazil, South Africa, Russia, Poland, Great Britain, Italy, France, Greece, The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Belarus, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland and Germany.

The mipa Musikmesse International Press Award is established as the "Grammy" of the Musical Instrument/Pro Audio industry.
