MEMSLux Co., Ltd. (CEO Jun-Bo Yoon) is participating in 'International Light Convergence Expo 2021' held at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 1 in Ilsan for 3 days from October 13th (Wed) to 15th (Fri).
MEMSLux is a technology startup that was founded in May 2017 and is developing ultra-precision optical components such as transparent flexible surface light sources (front/backlight) and micro lens arrays.
3D diffuser lithography, the core technology of MEMSLux, has already been researched for over 15 years in the 3DMNSL laboratory of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at KAIST, and has been recognized for its independent technology through more than 44 domestic and foreign academic journals and more than 25 domestic and foreign patents. Since this technology can realize ultra-precise three-dimensional microstructures of various shapes, it can faithfully respond to the needs of various optical parts and materials markets.
MEMSLOX's 'Magic Lighting Sheet', presented at this exhibition, is designed to show a variety of colors with very thin, small and sophisticated special micro-patterns placed on the back of the sheet. It is a lighting sheet of next-generation technology that emits light.
At 'IAA Mobility 2021', one of the world's four major automobile exhibitions recently held in Munich, Germany, the 'Magic Lighting Seat' was installed on the BMW i Vision Circular concept car.
An official from MEMSLux said, "At this exhibition, we plan to present various interior and exterior lighting of automobiles, machine vision lighting, innovative consumer lighting, and new interior lighting using magic lighting sheets."
He said, "We will develop into a company that is trusted by customers and help society through the core technology it possesses under the vision of 'a company that constantly challenges and develops' and 'a small but strong technology company'."
'International Light Convergence Expo 2021' organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, LED Industry Forum, and KOTRA and managed by the Korea Commission for Corporate Partnership, will be conducted by integrating the 19th International LED&OLED EXPO and PHOTONICS+LASER EXPO.
