Also, the company’s name was changed to HANLA IMS Co., Ltd.Starting with its water level measurement systems in 1986, the company’s systems were considered the best in the radar system field. And it has really made its mark in the domestic market.As ships need various valves, the company produced the valve remote control system, which enables one to control valves in a remote location. Furthermore, with the eco guardian system, the company’s ballast water treatment system, which purifies ballast water to prevent microorganisms and marine plants in Korea’s ballast water from flowing into other counties, was introduced and is garnering more popularity.In 2014, the company was selected as a leading company in Busan. This year, it acquired the type approval certificate for ballast water management system and was designated as a new global company. The firm is also part of the World Class 300 Company list.Held biennially since 1978, KORMARINE is an exhibition that focuses on shipbuilding, marine, oil, and gas industries. Taking place at BEXCO in Busan, it is a representative event of the domestic shipbuilding industry. There are 15 halls for the participating countries, and 1,200 companies are running 2,220 booths.
