[KORMARINE 2015] ABB Korea Presents Future Direction of Technology for Distribution Field

ABB Korea (CEO Choi Min-gyu, www.abb.com) participated in “KORMARINE 2015”, which runs for four days from Tuesday the 20th to Friday the 23rd at BEXCO.ABB is a leading company in the power and automation technology field, and it aims to minimize environmental impact and improve utility and production efficiency. About 140,000 employees in 100 countries work hard for ABB.ABB Korea has operated as a local subsidiary of ABB Group in the country since the 1960s. The company provides various products and extensive solutions to general homes and factories, supplying electricity stably and using it efficiently. Through its own accumulated know-how for each industry, the company provides solutions and helps optimize processes and assets to improve production efficiency.At the CIRED Conference in Lyon, France, last June, ABB showcased all types of UniGear Digital Air Insulated High Voltage Switchgears, which are used for major electricity substations. It introduced its advanced technology and presented the future direction of technology in the distribution field.

Held biennially since 1978, KORMARINE is an exhibition that focuses on shipbuilding, marine, oil, and gas industries. Taking place at BEXCO in Busan, it is a representative event of the domestic shipbuilding industry. There are 15 halls for the participating countries, and 1,200 companies are running 2,220 booths.
