The 2022 2022 Korea Materials, Composites & Equipment Show (K-Mtech 2022) was held for four days from August 31 (Wed) to September 3 (Sat) atKINTEX Exhibition Hall 2 in Goyang City.

“K-Mtech is a specialized exhibition covering domestic and foreign materials, composites, and manufacturing equipment. In addition, related industries such as the newly held K-BATTERY SHOW, which specializes in the secondary battery field, the core of the next-generation mobility industry, and the H2 MEET (Hydrogen Mobility, Hydrogen Charging Infrastructure, Hydrogen Energy) exhibition which specializes in the hydrogen industry, will be held simultaneously. It will be a place to create new businesses for the future,” said Jeong-jo Kim, CEO of E&X Korea, which hosted the exhibition.

The K-Mtech 2022 was an opportunity for the Korean materials, composites and equipment industries to understand domestic and foreign technology development trends, and a qualitative improvement comparable to quantitative expansion was expected.The effects of import substitution can also be improved by encouraging the will to develop technologies by mutually comparing domestic products with products from around the world to reaffirm domestic excellence. It provided various opportunities for domestic and foreign buyers and visitors to experience Korea's materials, composites and equipment industries in one place.

Items on display include bioplastics, thermoplastic/thermosetting plastics, thermoplastic elastomers, synthetic rubbers, 3D printing materials, additives and fillers, adhesives, surfactants, paints, dyes and pigments, colorants and masterbatches, parts and instruments, testing and measuring equipment, manufacturing equipment, additional materials, composites, and equipment, and related professional books and information services were also exhibited and introduced.

Meanwhile, K-Mtech 2022, which held its first show in 2021 and celebrated its second, is a materials, composites and equipment exhibition that can influence the production of finished products inlinewith the 4th industrial revolution era such as eco-friendliness, smartization, and digital transformation, and as the importance of the industry is increasing, various chemicals, metals, ceramic materials, bio, and convergence materials, as well as parts and instruments, testing and measuring equipment, and manufacturing equipment were exhibited and introduced. K-Mtech 2022 was held simultaneously with the newly held exhibition for materials, parts and equipment for secondary batteries (K-BATTERY SHOW 2022) and the H2 MEET, an exhibition specializing in the hydrogen industry, and provided more detailed and diverse attractions by separating and expanding the materials and composites fields.
