KOREA PACK & ICPI WEEK to open online exhibition hall on May 17 with non-face-to-face business platform

Prior to Korea Pack (Korea Int’l Process & Packaging Exhibition) and ICPI Week to be held at KINTEX, Goyang from May 25 (Tue) to 28 (Fri), the online exhibition hall service where visitors can meet exhibitors was unveiled on May 17 (Mon).

This online exhibition hall was developed as a non-face-to-face business platform for the purpose of global marketing in the field of packaging, logistics, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics jointly with the organizer Kyongyon Exhibition Corp. and MOTIE, KOTRA, and Association of Korean Exhibition Industry.

Designed for overseas buyers who cannot enter Korea due to COVID pandemic and Korean SMEs having difficulty entering overseas, this exhibition hall will be displaying products from 600 companies, along with the video clip, 2D product image, and e-Brochure.

KOREA PACK & ICPI WEEK online exhibition hall focused on matchmaking between sellers and buyers by effectively delivering the special features of the products rather than just making a fancy 3D virtual booth. The company staff from Kyongyon Exhibition Corp. said, “We designed the website simple rather than fancy and heavy for foreign companies with poor Internet environment to access easily.”

In fact, the organizer is supporting export channels by holding the first online export consultation at the KINTEX from May 25 to 28 for Korean exhibitors and overseas buyers that have been matched.

This exhibition which will be held at KINTEX 1 Exhibition Center in Goyang for four days from May 25, is run by the government and local governments with strict quarantine system to prevent COVID from spreading. Its past exhibition had no one infected with COVID.
