HTI Corporation (CEO Hong Jong-chan) willparticipate in the KOREA PACK Special & ICPI WEEK 2021 held at KINTEX,Goyang from May 25 (Tue) to 28 (Fri), and introduce its lid packagingComforLid.
HTI Corporation is a trading company thatdeals with food packaging equipment, and is the Korean agency for Synerlink,the FFS dairy filling equipment and aseptic beverage filling company in France,and Constantia Flexible, Europe's leading flexible packaging company inAustria.
In this exhibition, HTI Corporation willexhibit technical information on PET bottle and cup filling packagingtechnology, and the technology related to ComforLid, a two-layer lid packagingmaterial that replaces the lid and straw of cup coffee. In particular, dairyand beverage companies that produce cup coffee products are the targets oftheir business.
ComforLid is an eco-friendly packagingmaterial that reduces plastic waste by replacing the straws and plastic snapcaps in the beverage cups included with the drinking inlet built into thebeverage cup lid. It is a double-layer die cut lid made up of aluminum layerand a coextruded plastic layer.
There is no need for straws and plasticsnap-on lids, so you can drink with convenience, and the drinking inlet ishygienically protected and removed before consumption, so there is no risk ofloss. The shape of drinking inlet ls is cut with a laser in various ways, andit can be implemented on the existing production line.
The company staff from HTI Corporationexplained, "Our packaging solutions are ideal for liquid products such ascoffee, drinking yogurt, and soft drinks. Our open-type ComforLid is suitablefor packaging chocolate, chewing gum, and candy.”
He then said, “With regard to sustainablepackaging, we will continue to make efforts to reduce our environmental impactand our ecological footprint.”
Before the opening of KOREA PACK 2021, anonline exhibition hall service where visitors can see exhibitors’ products wasunveiled on May 17 (Mon). This online exhibition hall was designed for overseasbuyers who cannot enter Korea due to COVID pandemic and Korean SMEs havingdifficulty entering overseas. The organizer is supporting export channels byholding the first online export consultation at the KINTEX from May 25 to 28for Korean exhibitors and overseas buyers that have been matched.
