Edwards Korea participated in the KOREAPACK Special & ICPI WEEK 2021 held at KINTEX, Goyang from May 25 (Tue) to28 (Fri), and introduced its EDS dry pump.

Edward is a world leader in vacuum pumpsand gas processing equipment. The company reached the Korean market byestablishing the general branch in Korea, and manufacturing and developing thevacuum pumps for semiconductors and displays.

In this exhibition, the company unveiledEDS dry screw vacuum pump. Available in air-cooled and water-cooled models, theEDS product line offers unparalleled contaminant handling in the harshestindustrial and chemical conditions. Also, high pumping speed can handle morewhen needed, and the pump has a high resistance to particulates, which makes itparticularly safe and flexible for use in the chemical processing industry.

Lee Yong-hee, Deputy Manager of VacuumEquipment Division, introduced the company by saying, "We are a companyspecializing in vacuum pumps and are concentrating on supplying semiconductorsand batteries in Korea. The price is high compared to local companies in Korea,and it boasts solid durability to satisfy customers."

Regarding the reason for participating inthe exhibition, he said, "Since vacuum pumps are often used for productpacking, we are also trying to find out the trends of customers in the relatedfield and focus on promoting them,” and said “We are trying to expand ourbusiness to battery and packaging business as well.”

Before the opening of KOREA PACK 2021, anonline exhibition hall service where visitors can see exhibitors’ products wasunveiled on May 17 (Mon). This online exhibition hall was designed for overseasbuyers who cannot enter Korea due to COVID pandemic and Korean SMEs havingdifficulty entering overseas. The organizer is supporting export channels byholding the first online export consultation at the KINTEX from May 25 to 28for Korean exhibitors and overseas buyers that have been matched.
