DJC (CEO Kim Jeong-ho) will participate in the KOREA PACK Special & ICPI WEEK 2021 held at KINTEX, Goyang from May 25 (Tue) to 28 (Fri), and introduce preservatives used in cosmetics.

DJC is a company established in 1995 that produces preservative raw materials used in personal care and cosmetics products. It has large-scale manufacturing/synthesis plants in Yesan and Chungju, and being the largest synthesis reaction facility in Korea, it has a production capacity of more than 100 tons of single item per month.

With outstanding facilities and excellent R&D research team, it is supplying high-purity (99.9%) colorless and odorless personal care raw materials to the market, and through superior quality maintenance capabilities compared to other companies, it is acting as a key manufacturer/supply in the overseas personal care market beyond Korea.

Regarding the preservative raw materials to be presented at this exhibition, a staff from DJC said, “As a result of making a lot of efforts to replace cosmetic preservatives classified as dangerous substances such as phenoxyethanol and paraben, we successfully produced alkanediol products that are relatively safe like 1,2-hexanediol.” Also, he said the company has succeeded in making products such as 1,2-hexanediol, ethylhexyl glycerin, and chlorphenesin, which are the main ingredients of cosmetic preservation in both Korea and the world, colorless, odorless and high purity.

He said, “Beyond Korea, our key targets are global cosmetic manufacturers, raw material manufacturers, and dealers located in Europe, Middle East, North and Central America, and Asia. We can supply our products all over the world with mass production, so we look forward to meeting global manufacturers or raw material suppliers equipped with the appropriate facilities.”

Before the opening of the exhibition, an online exhibition hall service where visitors can see exhibitors’ products was unveiled on May 17 (Mon). This online exhibition hall was designed for overseas buyers who cannot enter Korea due to COVID pandemic and Korean SMEs having difficulty entering overseas. The organizer is supporting export channels by holding the first online export consultation at the KINTEX from May 25 to 28 for Korean exhibitors and overseas buyers that have been matched.
