Hyundai Injection Machinery participated at the 24th Korea International Plastic & Rubber Show (KOPLAS 2017), held at the KINTEX 1 exhibition hall in Goyang-si, from March 7th to 11th and presented various injection machinery and related systems.

Hyundai Injection Machinery specializes in manufacturing injection molding machines and has produced more than 10,000 injection molding machines for over 30 years. It has technology partnerships with JSW in Japan and HPM in USA, and has engaged in continuous research and development and produced self-developed models. The demonstration of the injection machinery at the exhibit hall attracted the attention of many people.

Its key product, the Hybrid Servo System (EDIS) combines the control performance of an electric injection molding machine with the maintenance advantages of a conventional hydraulic injection molding machine. This has resulted in high performance and high precision, and reduced energy consumption by up to 70% compared to Japanese hydraulic injection molding machines. Accurate torque and pressure control of the sub-motor through closed loop control has realized repetitive reproducibility, improving the productivity of high-quality molding products.

Meanwhile, KOPLAS 2017 is an exhibition where you can find the latest materials in the plastic and rubber industry, from eco-friendly materials to ultra-precision machining equipment, from home and abroad in one place. This year, 485 companies from 24 countries participated with around 1,320 booths, which is the largest scale ever.
