While INNOIO was participating in ‘the 8th Korea Smart Device Trade Show(KITAS 2018)’ held in D hall of COEX in Samsung-dong from 14th(Sat.) July to 16th(Mon.), INNOIO was selected as the TOP 5 of the 'BEST of KIATS 2018’.
In this exhibition, Chinese representative IT/Tech medium ‘Sohu’, Japanese smart device and tech web magazine ‘Pronews’, Japanese No. 1 smart device medium ‘ASCII’, Vietnamese national news agency ‘Vietnam Plus’ and Korean global news network ‘Avingnews’, participated and selected 5 companies, one Korean outstanding company for each. INNOIO has developed ‘Story Beam’, ‘Smart Beam’, and ‘Air Cell’ which are the best-selling subminiature projector products since its establishment in 2009, and it is a company specialized in subminiature projectors and supplies self-developed products to Best Buy and SoftBank.
INNOIO has introduced ‘Smart Beam Touch’ at this exhibition. Android-based ‘Smart Beam 3’ released in this May, is the latest product of ‘Smart Beam’ that has been sold over 400,000 units all over the world until now. When users connect the ‘Smart Beam 3’ to its ‘touch stand’, the ‘Smart Beam Touch’ helps them use the projected screen as a touch screen.
The ‘Smart Beam Touch’ supports touch screens in 14.5 inches and 16 inches by adjusting its angles in three ways. It enables touch up to 100 inches with a separate electronic pen.
An employee in INOIO mentioned the development intention of the product, “the ‘Smart Beam Touch’ was planned to expand the availability of the Smart Beam 3 that had been previously released,” and “we wanted to have a large touch screen projected to anywhere that can be shared by family members.”
The projector and the stand can be easily attached and detached, which embodies a large touch screen while remaining the mobility, an advantage of the existing subminiature projector. If a user already has the ‘Smart Beam 3’, the only thing that the user has to do is to buy the ‘touch stand’ as an accessory to use all the functions of the ‘Smart Beam Touch’. This product will be introduced again in August by Wadiz, a crowd funding website in Korea.
Meanwhile, the KITAS exhibition is an exhibition specialized in smart devices which can use connected with other smart devices. At this exhibition, products in many areas have introduced such as IoT(Internet of Things) devices that have recently become an issue, smart mobility, smart health care devices, all kinds of mobile accessories, and PC peripheral devices.
