[KIMES 2021] REMED plans to introduce brain rehabilitation treatment equipment and aesthetic device for strengthening muscle strength

REMED will participate in the 36th Korea International Medical & Hospital Equipment Show (KIMES 2021) which will run Mar. 18-21 to showcase its brain rehabilitation treatment equipment and PERFECT, its aesthetic device for strengthening muscle strength.

REMED’s PERFECT is a product developed mainly for body contouring such as abs and hip-ups by applying high frequency magnetic stimulation for the purpose of muscle contraction more than 40 times per second. A company staff said that it has already been recognized for its technological prowess and is supplying ODM to Company A, a global aesthetics company, and unlike the ODM products, it has newly launched under the brand’s own brand. Unlike electric stimulation devices currently on the market, it penetrates deeply into the muscle, stimulating not only the surface but also the muscles. Also, by reducing costs through self-development and supply of core parts, it gained superior price competitiveness compared to existing ODM products for the US or Europe, and it also boasts superior output. This product aims to enter the Asian and European markets as well as Korea.

In this year’s KIMES exhibition, REMED will also exhibit UICUBE, its first incontinence treatment device made by using magnetic field. According to BCC Research, the global urinary incontinence and overactive bladder treatment market is expected to grow to $4.2 billion by 2022. REMED’s UICUBE also uses magnetic field that penetrates deeply into the skin. Unlike other companies’ products, It has superior user convenience and hygiene because users do not have to take of their pants to treat incontinence.

REMED is a company specializing in electronic medicine in the field of brain rehabilitation and is pursuing a comprehensive solution for “B to B (Brain to Body).”

The company’s brain rehabilitation treatment device has already been approved for depression and now is being sold at home and abroad, and clinical trials are under way for testing treatment devices for stroke and dementia. REMED plans to study on ADHD, PTSD addiction, sleep disorders, and obesity, and indications for various psychiatric diseases will be added.

The company expressed its ambition to become a “Global no. 1 electronic medicine company” by continuously releasing new products for body shape correction and treatment of degenerative diseases through muscle strengthening, in addition to PERFECT and UICUBE to be exhibited in KIMES this year.
