SG Healthcare Co., Ltd(CEO Jung Soo Kim) will introduce X-ray system along with various line of its products at 'KIMES 2018' which is run from 15th to 18th of March at COEX.

Despite the fierce competition from Chinese companies with low-priced products to other foreign companies, SG Healthcare has created a competitive edge as a global enterprise by setting up a full line of products from digital X-ray machines to diagnostic ultrasound machines.

In addition, SG Healthcare has been supplying its products to the domestic market, and has already sold 500 units in two years with the know-how gained from its overseas market experience. Needless to say, providing clients a low-priced but high-quality imaging system through its market penetration strategy of “Customized selling, Customized service” has proven effective.

SG Healthcare is currently deploying a full line up of its digital X-ray equipment, in addition to its MRI and CT and ultrasound equipment that’s currently being sold overseas.

The domestic medical equipment manufacturing market seems to be in bad shape, as evidenced by a number of medical equipment manufacturers collapsing last year. Regarding this, a company official commented, “Supply has outstripped consumption in the market. Unlike the past when supply is shorter than consumption in the market, it’s harder for those who do not have an overseas market base.” He added, “We need to improve the reliability of our product in the overseas market; then the demand in the domestic market would naturally follow.”

Meanwhile, KIMES 2018 is the biggest international medical and hospital equipment exhibition of Korea. KIMES sets the stage for introduction of latest tools and technology that may aid in the healthcare industry etc. in the Hospitals and Medical Equipments industry.
