The 2015 K-Festival, a grand domestic event, kicked off with great fanfare at COEX today, July 2nd.

Organized by the Korea Tourism Association and hosted by K-Festival Messe, the 2015 K-Festival is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Korea Tourism Organization, KORAIL, and Korea Local Promotion Foundation.

The event will run until this coming Sunday, July 5th. It is expected to garner much attention from visitors who are eager to take their summer vacations, as the exhibition provides all the necessary information about great festivals all over the country.

The 2015 K-Festival has a main concert hall and a total of 100 exhibition halls for domestic festivals, institutions and global customs, travel agencies, and other experiences and programs. During the event, the concert hall is set to provide various colorful events, including Eastern and Western music concerts, dance performances, magic shows, parades, etc.

At the 3rd Asia Festival Forum, which will be held on July 3rd, experts from Korea, China, and Japan will explore the overall development of the festival industry through presentations on policies that support festivals and successful hospitality cases.

Furthermore, special booths from Daejun International Wine, Hoengseong Hanu Festival, Masan Gagopa Chrysanthemum Festival, Gimje Horizon Festival, Jinju Namgang Lantern Festival, and Geumsan Insam Festival will give visitors plenty of pleasure through their various exciting events. On the final day, an awards ceremony will be held for local governments that participated in the exhibition.
