[K-chemicals 2021] Korea Beauty Industry Development Institute introduces JEJUON, HAION, Deeprove, cosmetics made by using Jeju's special materials

Korea Beauty Industry Development Institute will participate in 2021 K-chemicals Cyber Exhibition on Mar. 22-26 to introduce JEJUON, HAION, Deeprove, cosmetics made by using Jeju's special materials.

Korea Beauty Industry Development Institute is expanding the convergence business by developing natural raw materials cosmeticsmanufacturing, and beauty training and experience based on Jeju's cleanresources, It is a beautyspecializing company that presents the nature and beauty of the clean Jeju withthe beauty product one-stop system that covers the development of ingredientsto product manufacturing as it runs the natural material research institutethat develops and researches Jeju’s natural ingredients and its ISO22716-certified direct manufacturing plant. Not only that, it started exporting to Russia, Germany, Denmark, England, and Bangladesh in 2020.

In addition, the institute is making cosmetics using Jeju's own specialized rawmaterials to coexist with Jeju's clean nature and spread its value. The company has three brands, JEJUON made with Jeju's land plants (turmeric, green tangerine, camellia, etc.) as the main ingredients, HAION made with Jeju’smarine organisms (red sea cucumber, abalone, conch, gulfweed) as the main ingredients, and Deeprove, thedermacosmetic brand made with eco ceramide extracted from Jeju bija seed.

These products are natural/organic functionalcosmetics which the Jeju green tangerine, turmeric, bija, and red sea cucumber are patented toacquire original technology. They are organic and vegan certified, and theinstitute is acquiring global competitiveness as the brand to practice cleanbeauty.

Korea Beauty Industry Development Institute launched cleansingproducts (foam cleansing, bubble cleansing), organic shampoo, baby cream, andbaby wash made with Jeju green tangerine, turmeric, and camellia. Also, bylaunching liposome ampoule and acne bubble cleanser with humanized ceramide NP, it will continuouslylaunch the cosmetics that coexist with Jeju and practice clean beauty.

The company staff from the institute said, “We are participatingin the expo to get new buyers and raise the brand awareness. In 2021, we aregoing to increase sales by expanding social media marketing, shopping malls,and live broadcasting in Korea.”

2021 K-chemical Cyber Exhibition supports non-face-to-face overseasmarketing for Korean companies. The exhibition boasts the largest display ofindustrial chemical products (varnish, glue, surfactants, MDI, polybutene, polyol, catalyst, blowing agent, additive, pipe, plastic for dailyuse, additives, etc.) and cosmetics (sun block, serum, ampoule, skin toner, lotion, shampoo, mask pack, etc.) in Korea. This year, about 270 companies will be participating to provide their majorproducts and services.

Especiallyin this exhibition, 3D technology-based exhibition hall and booth willbe set up to showcase special contents made of chemical products for onlinemarketing to overseas buyers.

Currently in Korea, major industries like electronics andautomobiles centered on chemical industry are closely linked. In line with this, Korea Specialty ChemicalIndustry Association (KSCIA), the organizer of the event, is helping the Koreanchemical companies to enter the overseas market by various support like export,research and analysis, technical standards, and HDR support as well as handlinginternational agreements. This year’s goal is to achieve 330 million dollars in export inthe chemical industry.
