‘K-BEAUTY EXPO 2015’ Prepares Various Additional Events

Hosted by GyeongGi-Do and organized by KINTEX and KOTRA, the “7th K-BEAUTY EXPO 2015”, the country’s largest beauty fair, has prepared various additional events.

In name and reality, the fair becomes a global beauty marketplace

 

Big global buyers from ALIBABA Group, China’s largest e-commerce company; SASA Cosmetics, one of Hong Kong’s top 10 cosmetics distributors; Peter Thomas Roth, a famous American luxury cosmetics brand whose products are often used at Hilton Hotels; and Groupe Rocher, a French beauty company that achieved sales of 2.1 billion euros last year, participated in “K-BEAUTY EXPO 2015”.

In addition, other buyers from 130 companies from 30 countries are scheduled to take part in an export conference. Four hundred firms will be given an opportunity to have one-on-one export counseling with those buyers at the expo’s site.

The participating companies are most interested in the “K-BEAUTY EXPO 2015 Innovative Product Awards”. Foreign media from China, Indonesia, Singapore, and Vietnam are invited to attend the event. The products are strictly reviewed, and through the media, selected companies will have an opportunity to promote their products in foreign countries.

Furthermore, at 2 p.m. on Sept. 17, merchandisers from major distributors participated in the “Product Development Academy”, which gave an opportunity to share product development know-how. Also, at 1 p.m. on the same day, experts gave practical advice about advancing into the Chinese market through “Marketing Strategy Seminar for Entering Foreign Markets”. The “K-BEAUTY EXPO 2015” also has various business programs that are customized for workers in the beauty field.

At 2 p.m. on Friday the 18th, “Advancement into China’s Market and Chinese Friends Seminar — Korean Products Matching Program with China Weisang” will be held. Companies with interest in the Chinese market are expected to join the seminar.

With matchless beauty, a fair that showcases latest K-Beauty trends

“K-BEAUTY EXPO” is the largest fair that specializes in the beauty industry. Famous small but strong companies are participating, and various additional events have been prepared to provide information on K-Beauty trends.

First off, “Beauty Talk Concert” starts at 3 p.m. on Friday the 18th and Saturday the 19th. At the event, beauty mentors give visitors practical information they can use. Actress Gong Hyeon-ju and makeup artist Go Won-hye will participate as this year’s beauty mentors.

In addition, “K-Hairstyling Trend Show”, which delves into the latest K-Beauty hairstyle trends, will start at 2 p.m. on Sunday the 20th. Taking part in the event will be top domestic franchises, including Park Seung Chol Hair Studio, Juno Hair, LeeChul Hair KERKER and Leekaja Hairbis.

Visitors can receive incredible discounts and latest products for free

 

“K-BEAUTY EXPO 2015” has prepared many different experience and giveaway events. Also, to mark Chuseok, all of the booths will sell their products at a discount.

The participating companies will offer 30-70% discounts on their new and popular products. For the “Beauty Early Bird” event, the fair will offer for free at 10 a.m. every day a “Secret Bag” to the first 100 visitors. The bag contains the participating companies’ products. For pre-registration and additional events, the fair provides “Beauty Box”, which is worth 200,000 won.

Furthermore, “Live Beauty Home Shopping” starts at 1 p.m. on Friday the 18th and Saturday the 19th. Gwon Mi-ran, who runs GS Home Shopping’s program “The Beauty”, joins as show host. She will introduce unique products and their pricing and give away discounts.

There are many must-see experience events at the fair. The beauty experience pavilion will be run by Yakson House, the nation’s largest spa brand, and HwaHae, the nation’s No. 1 cosmetics mobile app. Yakson House will run the well-known “Golki Therapy” program for free at the pavilion. The program does an outstanding job of manually stimulating bones. Visitors can apply for the free experience programs on the expo website’s event board.
