Ison participated in the International Green Energy Expo 2021 held at EXCO, Daegu from April 28 (Wed) to 30 (Fri) and introduced its basic one-body solar power structure steel beam modular method.

Ison's steel beam foundation structure andmodular method are an innovative improvement of the existing method ofassembling in the field by separating the foundation and the support. The steelbeam foundation method and the foundation, structure made by molding thecorrosion-resistant metal material (PosMAC) used widely these days, and thepre-assembled foundation, structure, and solar module at the site are moved tothe installation site and installed by using the equipment.

This modular method improves the stabilityand durability of the assembly and simplifies the installation process toreduce the cost, and can be assembled only with bolt and no welding. The steelmaterial is 100% recyclable.

Research Institute of Industrial Science& Technology (RIST) and Ison jointly participated in the “Development ofthe Steel Beam Foundation and Modular Method of Solar Power GenerationStructure.” It was selected as a research project by Steel & ConvergenceTechnology Research Association in 2019, and was certified by INNOVILT fromPOSCO in 2021.

At Green Energy Expo, the company stafffrom Ison said, "Ison developed the world's first basic one-body steelbeam modular method. It is simple and easy to work with, so it saves the costincluding basic construction cost.”

He then said, "We are focusing onlarge-scale flat farmland rather than on the mountain or on the roof. We wouldlike to expand our business by introducing our own technology to the Korean andoverseas markets."

The 18th International Green Energy Expo isKorea’s largest, one of Asia’s top 3 and the world’s top 10 new and renewableenergy exhibitions, and the only exhibition jointly organized by the four majorassociations. The exhibition covers △Solar power △ESS (energy storage system)& battery △Smart grid technology △Wind power and △New and renewable energy. This exhibition is hosted by Daegu Metropolitan City and Gyeongsangbuk-do andorganized by EXCO, KNREA, KOPIA, KWEIA, and KHIA.
