Solar Light Co., Ltd. (CEO Wol-yeong Kim) introduced ‘Smart ESS’ that operates in linkage with Solar Power Plants by participating in ‘2017 International Green Energy Expo’ held from April 5th(Wed) to 7th (Fri) at the EXCO in Daegu, Korea.
‘Smart ESS’, which was released by Solar Light Co., Ltd last month, is a form of an active energy management system (VENUS), which the capacity expansion is possible, that has fast installation and even the power consumption got lowered than existing ESS.
Solar Light Co., Ltd have combined independent solar power generation system into ESS with self-technology with know-how. The electricity generated from solar battery operates SCS (Self Cooling System), and since this covers 50% of ESS self-power consumption, it is possible to reduce the operation costs.
It blocks the heat coming into the upper double shield and it is easy to maintenance. Also by the use of UPS independent energy pack, enhanced safety. In addition, in case of the former grid-related power generation, there was problem that power plant itself shut down when there is problem in the grid, but in case of the ‘Smart ESS’, when there is problem in the grid, it transforms into an independent power plant.
Solar Light ‘Smart ESS’ can be used for outdoor and indoor type, peak power control, solar power linkage, renewable energy linkage type and mandatory use of public institution facilities by the purpose of use.
Meanwhile, the 14th International Green Energy Expo organized by Korea New and Renewable Energy Association, Korea Photovoltaic Industry Association, Korea Wind Energy Industry Association and Korea Hydrogen Industry Association, is the International Trade Fair which has been selected as Global top 10 solar power specialized exhibition by PHOTON-International Germany. Especially, this year is raising expectations since it is anticipated that a huge number of domestic and foreign buyers with professional visitors who have actual purchasing power will visit.
