Essel-T (www.removu.com) showcased the “Removu S1”, a 3-axis gimbal stabilizer for GoPro cameras, at IFA 2015, which runs Sep. 4-9 at Berlin.

The “Removu S1” can be viewed as the most applicable 3-axis gimbal stabilizer in the world. With its grip, the product turns into a handheld device. And when the grip is removed, it can be mounted to the user’s body, a bike or a car by using the GoPro standard mount.

The “Removu S1” is the world’s first waterproof gimbal. Thus, it is great for those who use GoPro cameras for various sports and outdoor activities when it is raining or snowing.

The product is that much more convenient with a Bluetooth remote control on the grip. The remote control changes the modes of the gimbal, and controls the camera’s angle. Convenience is maximized when users mount the product to a car or a bike.

With the one-click mounting system, users can keep their cameras horizontal without checking the rounded rectangular grip. Also, the company got rid of the disadvantages of existing gimbal products. The “Removu S1” will be launched in December, and the price is set at $349.

“Removu S1” is raising cash on the crowdfunding site Indiegogo (www.indiegogo.com). Within 10 days, the company has raised $116,800, five times more than its initial funding goal. Currently, the product can be preordered for $209 on Indiegogo.
