- France Hydrogen Industry Exhibition, held at the Paris Event Center from May 11th to 12th

- More than 250 participating hydrogen-related companies and institutions in the fields of mobility, energy, and hydrogen refueling

- The organizing committee to participate as joint Korean pavilion to promote exchanges between EU and domestic hydrogen industries to create business opportunities

'HYVOLUTION 2022 (France Hydrogen Industry Exhibition 2022)' will be held for two days from May 11th to 12th at the Paris Event Center, France.

HYVOLUTION is the largest hydrogen industry B2B exhibition in France hosted by GL Event. This year, more than 250 hydrogen value chain-related companies and institutions around the world will participate in △Mobility, △Energy, and △Hydrogen charging fields.

A total of 11 companies and institutions will participate in the Korea Pavilion; △Daeha △Daehyun ST △Ajou University △FCMT △NK Aether △GPhilos △Hylium Industry △Ministry of Environment △Korea Environmental Industry Association △Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) △Organizing Committee.

Prior to this, the organizing committee signed an NDA with GL Event on November 17 last year. GL Event is the organizer of HYVOLUTION and France's largest MICE company. The NDA was for the international cooperation in the hydrogen industry such as hydrogen production, storage, transportation, and utilization.

The organizing committee, along with KOTRA, will inform the EU of domestic hydrogen industry trends. They will also set up and operate a public relations center to promote exchanges in the private hydrogen industry.

△Daeha's 'hydrogen (gas/liquid) high-pressure parts test and inspection equipment,' △Daehyun ST's 'hydrogen colorimetric sensor film,' △Ajou University's 'hydrogen leakage detection discoloration sensor,' △ FCMT's 'MEA' △ NK Aether's 'super-large hydrogen transport device,' △ GPhilos' 'green hydrogen (P2G) systems, and Hylium Industries' 'liquid hydrogen drone' and 'liquid hydrogen tank', etc. will be exhibited to explore new business opportunities with companies in the EU.

Man-kiJeong, chairman of KAMA and chairman of the Hydrogen Mobility + Show organizing committee, said, “As a countermeasure against climate change, the world is rapidly shifting to a low-carbon economy — a hydrogen economy. Therefore, we will take hold of the current status of the global hydrogen industry by participating in this exhibition. We also aim to seek opportunities for global cooperation throughout the industrial value chain."

He continued, "In the hydrogen industry, the entire industry ecosystem from production, transportation, storage, and utilization needs to grow evenly. However, except in the field of hydrogen utilization, Korea has many areas that are lacking in industrial competitiveness compared to other hydrogen-leading countries such as the EU," furthermore, "Although 171.8 billion won was allocated to the national R&D project for the development of a hydrogen ecosystem, more research investment and policy support is desperately required to achieve world-class industrial competitiveness," he stressed.

Meanwhile, the 2022 Hydrogen Mobility + Show will be held at KINTEX, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do from August 31 to September 3. GL Events is also promoting the participation of French companies and others in the Hydrogen Mobility + Show.
