It is not easy to explain everything about semiconductor packaging process, but to put it in a simple way, it is to cut a semiconductor chip from its raw material ‘Wafer’ and to make electronic connections and then to package the chips to resist external shock.
You’ve probably seen a tiny chip with several legs on TV or in a newspaper and that’s the finished product of the semiconductor packaging process.

Last year HANA Micron merged Sungjin Electronics, a test research company, thereby equipping an integrated production system. The factory is now running in three shifts in 24 hours and HANA Micron has been accelerating its semiconductor packaging production by establishing the 2nd factory last June in Asan.

Currently HANA Micron is working under the strategic partnership with major companies in semiconductor business such as Hynix, FAIRCHILD, and Dongbu Anam Semiconductor.
