Greenpacket to present 'Intouch Connection Manager' platform components

HONG KONG, China (AVING Special Report on 'Mobile Asia Congress 2009') -- <Visual News> Greenpacket presented its 'Intouch Connection Manager' platform components in GSMA Mobile Asia Congress held in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 18 – 19 November 2009.

Application stores are fast gaining popularity and those involved are raking in huge revenues. Although operators play a vital role enabling connectivity, current application store business models do not grant operators a fair share of the revenue.

Greenpacket advocates that operators should launch their own application store and increase ARPU from the sale of applications. An application store is an ideal way for operators to differentiate from their competitors while meeting subscribers' demand for innovative services.

ISMP is architectured to intelligently utilize available CRM data and recommend relevant applications to subscribers, based on lifestyle patterns and purchasing behavior.

Billing is also hassle free for subscribers as payment for applications is consolidated into their monthly bills. This means subscribers can purchase applications in a secure environment without the need to use their credit cards online.

Additionally, ISMP offers Operators a centralized avenue to host and manage all services and applications, both existing (for example, website or application portal) and new, from one focal point.

With this, subscribers can indulge in cool applications or utilize the operator's self-care services from a single interface.

Content developers also benefit from a centralized system to access development kits and submit or obtain approvals for their applications. With a dynamic applications marketing mechanism, all applications gain favorable competition and selling ground.
