Hanback Motors (CEO Lee Jong-jae, www.kjpeugeot.co.kr) participated in 'Green Car Korea 2012' held from 8th, Nov. to 10th at 'Kimdaejung Convention Center', Gwangju Metropolitan City, Korea and showed PEUGEOT model equipping 'e-HDi' engine featuring high efficiency.

'e-HDi' engine features 'Stop&Start System', the 3rd generation system. The system is designed so that the engine can be stalled automatically when the car is stopped, also the car is restarted automatically the moment a driver takes one's foot off the break.

This system can be called as high efficiency and environment friendly system of cutting edge technology, since when the car is stopped, fuel is not consumed and Co2 is not emitted. When a driver drives on the down town having heavy traffic, fuel efficiency is enhanced around 15% (22.6km per liter) and co2 emission is reduced 5kg/km averagely.

In particular, i-StARS(Start Altermator Reversible system) system realized more sophisticated technique skill and high durability than previous generation.

Meanwhile, 120 companies which come from 7 countries will participate in the 'Green Car Korea 2012', the Koreanrepresentative Exhibition for Green Car. Also there will be business opportunities through 1:1 business talk with invited 90 overseas buyers. Varied seminars will be run and various technologies & products will be exhibited including Hybrid Car, Plug in electric car, Diesel car, Clean diesel car, Electronic bus, Fuel Cell Vehicle and others.
