Goodshop Introduces ‘World Beer Market’, an O2O Alcohol Beverage Distribution Platform, at ‘COMEUP 2022‘… “Responding to Various Consumer Trends!”

Goodshop Co., Ltd. (CEO Yonghee Chung) is set to attend COMEUP 2022, which will be held for 3 days between November 9 (Wed) and 11 (Fri) at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul and introduce their O2O alcoholic beverage distribution platform (B2B), ‘World Beer Market’.

World Beer Market is a B2B distribution platform that connects ‘suppliers-distributors-sellers’ on one platform to reform the distribution structure.

The consumer trends of various products like wine and whiskey are changing recently. However, World Beer Market combines the volume of individual distributors and sellers that have struggled to source and negotiate prices of individual products from the existing tens of thousands of products, and directly makes deals with suppliers so that distributors and sellers are able to receive various products and promotions that they were not able to get before at a low cost, enabling them to raise their market competitiveness.

Based on the competitiveness of their platform, Goodshop is currently expanding their range of service to various fields, including overseeing all of the alcoholic drinks at the biggest beer festival in Korea in ‘Songdo Beer Festival, unmanned alcoholic beverage dispensers, and alcoholic beverage delivery.

Goodshop is working to cement its place as Korea’s greatest distribution channel by securing over 20,000 sellers by 2023. In addition, they are also scheduled to release an unmanned alcoholic beverage dispenser (unmanned convenience store) service in early 2023.

Having its 4th iteration this year, ‘COMEUP 2022’ is hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Minister Young Lee) and is overseen by the Korea Startup Forum (Chairman Jaewook Park). Innovative startups, investors, and startup related people from Korea and over 15 countries are scheduled to attend, and starting from this year in particular, COMEUP will be rebranded into a startup-centered, private sector led event from the existing government-private collaboration that it was before and begin its journey to become one of the 5 big startup events in the world.With the slogan of ‘WE MOVE THE WORLD’, the event will be conducted both on and offline, and will have various programs like Academic Conferences (Conference), Open Innovation Strategy of Global Companies (Open Innovation), COMEUP Stars Company Introduction (IR) and Booth Exhibitions, and Business Matching (Biz Matching).
