The Seoul Metropolitan Government ran the ‘Seoul Innovation Challenge Demoday’ awards at the Global Startup Festival 'Try Everything 2022' that was held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) from September 21st (Wednesday) to the 23rd (Friday).

‘Seoul Innovation Challenge’, hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and organized by the Seoul Business Agency, is a program that began in 2017 to discover and support the development of excellent domestic and international innovative technologies. This year, outstanding graduates among the companies that have been supported and fostered for the past six years were in charge of presentations at the Seoul Innovation Challenge Demoday event.

As pitching companies, Mobiltech Co. Ltd., a company with 3D scanning-based realistic digital twin technology, TheDASH Inc., a drone control service provider for solving farming problems, Boxful Co. Ltd., an untact integrated logistics management system provider, and Ko-Mapper Co. Ltd., an untact digital safety diagnosis solution provider for large facilities, etc. gave their IR presentations.

Furthermore, presentations of excellent cases for the Seoul Innovation Challenge Conglomerate Open Innovation followed. Narma Inc., a provider of dual tilt-rotor drone for quick long-distance delivery, and finally Libest Inc., a company that produces flexible batteries for metaverse devicesgave their presentations. Lastly Mobiletech Co., Ltd. was selected as an excellent company of pitching companies and enjoyed the joys of being awarded.

Meanwhile, the city of Seoul has been selected as a Global TOP 10 city to start a business. Various players of the startup ecosystem, such as global corporations, investment institutions, unicorn companies, and the media will attend to accelerate the invigoration of the Seoul startup ecosystem. Accordingly, over 40 programs, such as competitions, lectures, and seminars, will be held at Try Everything 2022, and various global institutions and Korean and foreign startup ecosystem experts, such as South Summit, Extreme Tech Challenge, Startup Genome, and the U.S. EMBASSY & CONSULATE, will be in attendance.
