“SLUSH 2015” is a large exhibition held in Helsinki, Finland, where more than 3,500 startups participated. This event ran in Helsinki, Finland until Thursday the 12th local time, or Friday the 13th Korean time.

The K-ICT Smart Content Center supported the participation of five domestic companies: Digital Motion Entertainment, Pison Contents, SounDUX, iCubis, and HisShow. Visitors were able to meet the companies at booths A.11 to 15 at the exhibition.

Digital Motion Entertainment, which garnered much attention from buyers from foreign countries on the first day of “SLUSH”, introduced the production projects for “Real Live Avatar” service, based on real-time motion recognition technology, and “Sensory Sports App Contents”, which is based on virtual and augmented realities.

Pison Contents, which has recently attracted $1 million from Silicon Valley, showcased “Music spray” at “SLUSH 2015”.

SounDUX, a leading company in music distribution, including background music and sound effects, also showcased BGMSHOP.COM, Asia’s largest open market platform for background music, at “SLUSH”.

The character content developer iCubis also stood out. iCubis’ representative characters “Easy & Elly” and “Muddly Monsters” garnered much attention from foreign visitors. Convergence contents of characters, animation, education and games were exactly what people wanted from the market.

Lastly, HisShow, a Christian cultural content producer, gained attention by unveiling “HisShow Sunday School”, which is used as teaching materials at churches, and “HisShow Homeschool”, which can be used at home.

Participating in “SLUSH 2015”, Kim Hyo-geun, head of the National IT Industry Promotion Agency, said: “We participated in this event to help outstanding domestic startups get a foothold in foreign market trends and attain new buyers. It is a reality that domestic startups with outstanding technologies have difficulty in entering foreign markets.”

He also added: “We hope that the five companies, including Digital Motion Entertainment, will have a chance to not only discover new buyers, but also create bigger networks with foreign smart content companies.”
