Find the Gap (CEO Oh-joong Kim) attended ‘Try Everything 2022’, which was held from Sept 21st (Tues) to the 23rd (Wed) at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP).

As a security service company, Find the Gap operates a Bug Bounty platform. Bug Bounty is a system where many security experts are asked to inspect the system and services of a company and are rewarded by the amount of bugs or weaknesses they report.

Unlike the shortcomings of existing mock hacking or penetration testing methods, with limitations in personnel and time, as well as high costs in comparison to time, Bug Bounty has performance-based costs and high efficiency, making it highly effective. Numerous global companies, like Apple, Google, Microsoft, Samsung, and Naver, already consider Bug Bounty as necessary for security, and have been using it for a long time.

Find the Gap has offered Bug Bounty services from 2020, and they have been preemptively dealing with accidents in company security with around 1,700 ethical hackers.

In addition, through VPN/VDI, it is possible to apply Bug Bounty to staging servers that can only be accessed by a limited number of people and can conduct a free and in-depth security inspection. Moreover, Bug Bounty provides a virtual computing environment that has been applied for a patent, has the right to use patents, and possesses differentiated technical capabilities.

Find the Gap also provides services to various companies ranging from huge conglomerates to SMEs, and has various references, including Web, IoT, App, and Games.

A spokesman for Find the Gap said, “Bug Bounty has employed numerous people experienced with inspections to conduct multi-faceted security inspections and has already proved its effectiveness. As a result, we are getting calls from many companies,” and went on to say, “Currently, we are getting inquiries for partnerships from various platforms, such as with cryptocurrency exchanges.”

Meanwhile, the city of Seoul has been selected as a Global TOP 10 city to start a business. Various players of the startup ecosystem, such as global corporations, investment institutions, unicorn companies, and the media will attend to accelerate the invigoration of the Seoul startup ecosystem.
