The Hydrogen Mobility + Show Organizing Committee (Chairman Man-ki Jeong, hereinafter the organizing committee) will participate in the form of a Korean joint pavilion and hold a booth together with domestic hydrogen-related companies and institutions at 'HYVOLUTION 2022', which will be held at the Paris Event Center in France from May 11 to 12.
A total of 11 companies and institutions will participate in the Korea Pavilion; △Daeha △Daehyun ST △Ajou University △FCMT △NK Aether △GPhilos △Hylium Industry △Ministry of Environment △Korea Environmental Industry Association △Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) △Organizing Committee.
Ajou University will also introduce a color changing sensor for detecting hydrogen leakage. The color change sensor technology for hydrogen leak detection developed by the research team of Professor Hyung-tak Seo of Ajou University is a high-performance and high-precision sensor that can precisely measure the hydrogen concentration, and is a necessary technology to ensure the safe utilization of hydrogen.
Daeha Co., Ltd. is a company specializing in ultra-high pressure technology that manufactures and sells testing and inspection equipment for high-pressure hydrogen parts. Daeha's test equipment has been verified for safety and reliability through domestic manufacturers and research institutes that develop hydrogen components. At the exhibition, △ High-pressure hydrogen parts test and inspection equipment, △Cryogenic liquid hydrogen parts test and inspection equipment, △Hydrogen pressure test equipment, △Hydrogen gas booster, and △Compressor system for hydrogen filling stations will be showcased.
Daehyun ST Co., Ltd. is a leading domestic tape coating company that operates mobile, display, battery, semiconductor, and special tape coating businesses. Recently, it has entered the hydrogen sensor field and is concentrating on colorimetric sensors and sensor businesses that are responsible for hydrogen safety. The hydrogen colorimetric sensor film, that will be introduced at the exhibition, is a film that can visually identify hydrogen leakage within 5 seconds. In addition, △Chameleon film and △Semiconductor film will also be introduced.
FCMT Co., Ltd. manufactures MEA and STACK, which are core parts of hydrogen fuel cells, based on the design and manufacturing technology of MEA (Membrane Electrode Assembly), and is a reputable MEA-specialized company that has recently been selected as a joint R&D institution for localization of water electrolysis systems. MEA (membrane electrode assembly) is a film-type assembly that induces a chemical reaction between oxygen and hydrogen in a hydrogen fuel cell and converts it into electrical energy.
NK Aether, the only manufacturer specializing in ultra-large containers in Korea, is planning to showcase △Hydrogen tube trailers, △ASME storage, and △Y-ton for semiconductor special gas storage at this exhibition. NK Aether covers various industrial fields such as semiconductor special gas, hydrogen energy, natural gas, and various industrial gas transportation and storage systems, based on ultra-high pressure gas container manufacturing technology accumulated over the past 30 years.
GPhilos is a company specializing in providing green hydrogen systems and solutions with renewable energy power conversion technology, and is the first in Korea to build and operate a wind power-based green hydrogen plant. GPhilos' Green Hydrogen (P2G) system is an integrated system that includes water electrolysis as well as hydrogen utilization stages such as compression and storage, and fuel cells. In addition, △Fuel cell power converters, and △New and renewable energy power solutions will be announced at HYVOLUTION 2022.
Hylium Industries, a KIST startup venture, has a history of independently developing liquid hydrogen production, storage, transport, and safety technology, for the first time in Korea. Major products include liquid hydrogen hydrogen filling stations, liquid hydrogen drones, liquid hydrogen storage tanks, and hydrogen liquefiers.
An official from the organizing committee said, “At this exhibition we will inform the EU of the domestic hydrogen industry trends, and prepare and operate a PR center to promote exchanges in the private hydrogen industry, together with KOTRA.”
Meanwhile, HYVOLUTION is the largest hydrogen industry B2B (business-to-business) exhibition in France hosted by GL Events. This year, more than 250 hydrogen value chain-related companies and institutions from around the world will participate in △ Mobility, △ Energy, and △ Industry. Korea’s ‘Hydrogen Mobility + Show Organizing Committee’ will participate in the exhibition as a joint pavilion by signing an NDA for exhibition exchange with French MICE company GL Event.
